This week, Mark from #CSWallaceCourt travelled to Perth for a reunion with his old school friend, Greig, who attends The Studio. Mark and Greig went to Corseford School together 28 years ago! They've not seen each other since then, and seeing them reunited was lovely.
During their catch-up, Greig mentioned his former keyworker from Corseford, none other than our own Sheena, who still works with us! So they gave Sheena a video call to catch up too - wonderful!

promising to Deliver on a Disability Equality Plan which would ensure the voices of disabled people would be at the centre of policy and decision-making, we are still waiting.
📍No actions have yet been taken.
📍No commitment to meaningful actions has been made.
📍No progress towards Disabled People’s Equality.
As a result, disabled people and our DPOs are demanding justice!

#WorldCPDay: in this short video, our Trustee, Annalu, talks about the first type of cerebral palsy which is most common in those with CP.
A wee note before watching that Annalu mentions medical terminology in this video.
Celebrating being #UniquelyCP, Mark (centre) joined the Capability Scotland team at our staff conference two weeks ago, demonstrating his amazing skills on the communication device that Suzanne (left) supported him with.
Mark can now communicate his needs and wishes more effectively, a huge improvement and achievement for him.
Mark has truly found his voice and shows how he can be #UniquelyCP.
A huge #ThankYou to our friends at @GrowersGarden for providing tasty broccoli crisps for our staff conference in September. We loved sharing them with our social care teams in their goodie bags - delicious! 🥦
